I — N. Leider, so says this online portfolio — am a writer and editor living in Chicago. Currently the senior content editor at CCIM Institute, a commercial real estate association, I’ve gained experience in various formats and subjects — from print to online and in technically dense writing to the more conversational.
Previously the associate editor of Modern Casting magazine and managing editor of Billiards Digest, I’ve tackled wildly different subject matters by being resourceful, adaptable, and vigorous in research. I also wrote “Pool & Billiards for Dummies," an entry in the ubiquitous yellow-and-black instructional series. A demanding copy editor, meticulous proofreader, and all-around curious person, I’m eager to tackle writing and editing projects of all shapes and sizes.
When not writing about commercial real estate or bar games, I’m usually running, watching movies, or hanging out with my wife, my two cats, and/or friends.
